One of those things you constantly hear when you’ve just had your first baby is, “enjoy it, it goes by fast”. I don’t think anyone ever really understands what that means until they look at their baby and realize, wow, it did go by fast. And it keeps going fast. It is so very hard for me to believe that my first baby is turning six this month. Someone tell him to slow down. I am now one of those ladies that eats up unsuspecting newborns like Baby Luke in the previous post because I sure miss my babies! Now don’t get me wrong. I wouldn’t trade it for this cute little six year old! I’ve enjoyed every year of his life. I’m just warning you new mommies, it goes by fast!
We set out for his six year old photo shoot last Sunday afternoon. I wanted to capture the true spirit of a six year old and the outdoors is the perfect place. He was giggles and smiles mixed in with a little goofiness and then some scared moments when he heard something in the woods.
He’s so handsome! These shots are absolutely wonderful. I love them all, but the lighting of the dock shot (with him standing) is just Heavenly!
