Emily: 1 Year Old

Its been quite a long time since my kids were the age of adorable Miss Emily.  I photographed this cutie recently for her 1 year birthday  and you can guess the location…Harmony’s flower fields!  It was actually a perfect setting being that her mommy is planning a garden party for her 1st birthday party.  I forgot how on the go these little ones are and she gave me a workout!  It was a fun evening of playing “chase the baby” and ”keep the flowers out of Emily’s mouth”!  We ended up with several great shots and these are my faves…

Flower Child

I am taking full advantage of these beautiful flower fields not far from my home.  My fifteen year old niece was more than willing to be my next subject for the beautiful backdrop these fields provide.  As I looked through the pictures, I notice in them how much of a woman she is becoming yet how much of a little girl she still is.  Aaaah…what a confusing age!  It was such a joy to be able to capture this moment in her life as she is growing, like a beautiful flower!

Harmony, FL Flower Fields

I had the pleasure of photographing the most adorable children recently for their Spring / Easter inspired photo shoot.  The flower fields located in Harmony, FL were a perfect background for this session!  I had been waiting for the perfect opportunity to take pics in this spot because I pass by it daily.  I was more than please with the results and look forward to more sessions here.  Be sure to fill out the contact form on the website if you are interested in a shoot here!!

Trent: Five Years Old

One of my biggest motivations for getting into photography is my children.  I have spent hundreds of dollars on mediocre photo shoots at portrait studios that really didn’t capture my kids’ personalities.  Now each year I set out with my own camera equipment and spend good, quality time making sure I get those looks that they only give me.  My youngest son turned five this year and he is one well trained model!  Or should I say that he knows a bribe is coming at the end of the photo shoot.  I am so happy with the results of our shoot.  I have a mixture of tough boy poses mixed in with some baby faces.  Which is about right because he is transitioning from preschooler to school kid.

Happy Birthday, Trenster!

Turtle

Get ready…you are about to see the cutest little turtle you ever saw!  This is Madison and for some reason they call her turtle.  She is simply adorable and a natural in front of the camera.  This is my second time taking her pictures and I had a lot of pressure on me because the first set of pictures were so gorgeous.

We did it again, Turtle!  You worked this photo session like a true model.  Despite the wind and flyaway hair, I would call it a success!

I am soooo looking forward to our next session!

My great neice is ssooooo photogenic! She is the prettiest little thing I have eve seen. Christins d does a wonderful job with her, makes Madison feel comfortable, therefore easy to capture natural beauty that Madison has in the different posses. Love the pics…..absolutley adorable, she should be a child model. But no way should she really……not a good thing! Auntie loves you Turtle girl:)

I was a ‘cradle to grave’ friend with Madison’s Paternal Grandmother, Cheryl\.Having 3 granddaughters,I love doing ‘photo shoots’ with them. Your talent is Extraordinary. You have a way of capturing this beautiful little girl at her best. Kudo’s.. I love your work! I wish her Gramma were alive to see them, but perhaps she does, from above.

Allison Rumble - February 28, 2011 - 1:52 am

What a beauty and I LOVE how the wind caught her hair!
